Nicholas D. Crifase

Nicholas Daniel Crifase, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 3, 2026. He was the beloved son of Dan and Annette Crifase of Silver Lake, Wisconsin, and the brother of Taylor Crifase of Denver, Colorado.

Nicholas—known affectionately as Nick, Nico, or Nikoli—was born on May 12, 1992, in Burlington, Wisconsin. He was a gentle, loving soul who met the world with an open heart, always welcoming new friendships without judgment. Nicholas shared a special bond with his dad, deeply enjoying watching motocross and supercross and attending live events together. He also had a profound passion for live music, traveling to music events all over the country—from the California coast to Red Rocks in Colorado, and back home to Wisconsin to join his mom enjoying small intimate festivals and to yet again make new friends.

He was an outdoorsman and was happiest when he was disc golfing with close friends at Fox River Park, hikin gin the woods and the mountains, fishing on Silver Lake, kayaking or riding his dirt and pedal bikes. Nature was truly where he thrived. Nicholas touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Adrienne Crifase and Ken & Renee Karwowski.

In lieu of an immediate service, a celebration of life will be held this coming spring, allowing time for loved ones to gather, heal, and honor his memory. Details regarding the date, time, and location will be provided at a later date.
